Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives in a financial institution.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for microfinance products.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
Performs risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities, liquidity and investments.
Oversees the monthly management reports (P&L, Statement of Financial Position, Cash Flow and Sales Summary) and presents same to top management during the monthly performance review meeting.
Oversees all tax issues including audits, annual returns, transfer pricing and overall tax planning and compliance.
Ensure expenses are within limit to meet up with ROCE as agreed by the business owners during the financial year.
Oversees the regulatory and statutory compliance with regulatory requirements and financial laws specific to microfinance and other business areas including imports, Transfer Pricing Agreements, CAMA, Finance Act, etc.
Maintain good and working relationship with vendors, agents and suppliers, banks, custom, SEC, CBN, Tax authorities, consultants, auditors and other government agencies.
Driving financial modelling and strategy formulation and implementation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance with a relevant certification in a related field (ICAN/ACA/ACCA).
At least 5 years of relevant and progressive experience.
Great business communication (including written and verbal) skills.
Expert presentation and interpersonal skills.
