Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in the maritime security industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and supporting the company’s financial health.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial transactions.
Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, WHT, PAYE) and liaise with regulatory bodies.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to management.
Conduct financial audits and ensure adherence to internal control.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the maritime or security sector.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
