  • We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of a Superintendent Pharmacist. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care.

  • This role requires a licensed professional who is diligent, responsible, and passionate about community health and wellness.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee all pharmacy operations, including dispensing, inventory, staff supervision, and customer service.

  • Ensure full compliance with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and other relevant health regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain proper documentation, drug registers, and regulatory records.

  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians, interns, and other staff.

  • Review and approve prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and drug interactions.

  • Provide professional advice to customers on the use of medicines and general health.

  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of pharmaceuticals.

  • Monitor and manage stock levels, including reordering and tracking expiries.

  • Handle regulatory inspections and maintain good relationships with regulatory agencies.

  • Promote health awareness and ensure best practices in patient care and safety.



Requirements




  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Degree from a recognized institution.

  • Must be a fully registered and licensed Pharmacist with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

  • Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience (more experience is an advantage).

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and ethical guidelines.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and make sound professional judgments.
