  • The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for delivering a warm and professional welcome to all students, staff, and visitors. 

  • This role combines customer service excellence with administrative support, ensuring smooth front-office operations and clear communication across departments. 

  • The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and committed to creating a positive first impression in an academic environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, students, and stakeholders.

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.

  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.

  • Handle administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and documentation.

  • Provide accurate information about the college's programs, procedures, and events.

  • Assist in the coordination of student onboarding and visitation processes.

  • Receive and distribute mail and other correspondences.

  • Liaise with internal departments to support smooth operations.



Qualifications




  • HND in any Social Science discipline.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.

  • Certification in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or a related field is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
