Job Summary




  • The Art Director job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos.



Job Responsibilities:




  • Choosing the visual elements for the project, which may include photos, art, video and other mediums

  • Follow the overall style or tone desired for each project and articulate their vision to life for images, illustrations, graphics, photographs or posters

  • Generate clear ideas and concepts in collaboration with the agency team to meet clients’ requirements.

  • Produce sketches, storyboards, art layouts based on creative visions and ideas

  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic design

  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design

  • Test graphics across various media

  • Amend designs after feedback

  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

  • Participate in brain storming sessions



Job Requirements




  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Visual Design in Marketing & Communications or in related field

  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

  • Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools including Photoshop, illustrator, CorelDraw etc.

  • Good team-working skills

  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines



KPI




  • Create a minimum of 3 award winning concepts in a year.

  • At least 90% rate delivery on all briefs within expected time

  • 100% client satisfaction rate

  • 100% quality on assignments completed

  • Monthly reporting to the Creative Director

  • At least 10% savings on projected vs actual budget

  • At least one brainstorming session weekly
