• We are urgently sourcing for a *LOGISTICS OFFICERfor our client in the food manufacturing industry.

Duties:

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material procurement to finished goods distribution, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. 


• Monitor stock levels, track inventory movement, and implement strategies for optimal storage and utilization, minimizing waste and costs.


• Organize and manage transportation of materials and finished goods, selecting the most cost-effective and reliable methods and carriers.


• Develop and implement logistical plans to meet production schedules, customer demands, and company goals.


• Analyze transportation and warehousing costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.


• Communicate effectively with internal teams (production, sales, purchasing) and external parties (carriers, vendors) to ensure smooth operations.


• Identify and resolve logistical issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain. 


• ⁠Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualification: minimum of OND.


• Experience: 2-3 years.
