Job Overview:




  • The Executive Assistant will provide high-level support to the Head of Ministry by managing her schedule and facilitating communication with stakeholders on her behalf. Below is a brief description of duties, however, this job description is by no means exhaustive as the successful candidate may be required to perform additional duties from time to time.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Executive Support: Support the Head of Ministry by liaising with management, staff and external parties on her behalf. Accompany the Head of Ministry to a wide spectrum of events, meetings and engagements, in and out of the country.

  • Writing: Research, develop and write speeches and sermons for delivery by the Head of Ministry

  • Book Publications and Book Management: Assist the Head of Ministry in her book management and sales of motivational and business books.

  • Communication Management: Serve as the contact for the Head of Ministry, handling correspondence and managing communication with internal and external stakeholders on her behalf.

  • Brand Management: Liaise with the relevant departments to promote the Head of Ministry’s personal brand image, ensuring consistent messaging and positive public perception.

  • Document Management: Ensure that all the materials produced are saved on one drivefor easy retrieval and sharing of documents.

  • Travel Management: Work with the Personal Assistant and Head of protocol and logistics to coordinate all travel arrangements for the Head of Ministry to include the management of luggage, ensuring she has essential documents, managing accommodation arrangements and the logistics for any events.

  • Email Management: Manage the Head of Ministry’s emails on her behalf and ensure she is kept abreast of all meetings, speaking engagement invitations, events and financial commitments etc.



Required skills and qualifications




  • A degree holder

  • Six or more years of experience in an administrative role reporting directly to senior management

  • Proven experience in church ministry-related roles (preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience writing speeches and sermons is an advantage

  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects

  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all tasks

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work well in a dynamic environment
