Job Description
Petcare Animal Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Store Keeper to manage the day-to-day inventory operations of our veterinary store. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and tracking all medical supplies, pet products, and consumables to ensure a seamless flow of operations within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and record all incoming stock and supplies.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the stockroom or warehouse.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders when stock is low.
- Issue supplies to veterinary staff and update records accordingly.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all medical and pet-related items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and delivery personnel as needed.
- Generate periodic inventory reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven experience in a storekeeping, inventory, or warehouse role (experience in a medical or veterinary setting is an added advantage).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Integrity and a high sense of responsibility.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Saturday
