We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Officer with a proven track record in managing multiple social media accounts, community engagement, and content execution.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills, understand the dynamics of digital audiences, and be proficient with automation tools and productivity software.
You must be capable of interpreting creative direction and translating it into compelling social media content.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of multiple social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content aligned with brand strategy and campaign goals
Monitor and respond to comments, direct messages (DMs), and tagged posts in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
Build and nurture an online community that reflects the brand's tone, values, and voice
Develop and implement strategies to increase engagement, followers, and reach across platforms
Collaborate with the creative/design team to interpret and execute art direction across visual and written content
Write clear, concise, and compelling captions and posts in grammatically correct English
Use social media automation and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, etc.) for streamlined content delivery
Track, analyze, and report performance metrics with insights and suggestions for improvement
Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and content best practices.
Requirements
Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor's Degrees with 1 - 3 years relevant work experience.
