Job Summary
- We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to support our finance team.
- The successful candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in recording financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and expenses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciliations
- Perform data entry and maintain financial databases
- Assist in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
Requirements
- Highee national diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial record-keeping and data entry
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
