Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations Management:
- Oversee opening and closing duties of the restaurant/lounge.
- Monitor and coordinate front-of-house and bar operations.
- Ensure tables, dining areas, and lounge sections are clean, organized, and properly set.
Staff Supervision:
- Assign duties and supervise servers, bartenders, and support staff.
- Train new staff and ensure adherence to service standards.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or coaching as needed.
Customer Service:
- Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guests receive high-quality service throughout their visit.
Inventory and Supplies:
- Monitor stock levels for food, beverages, and supplies.
- Coordinate with kitchen and procurement teams for timely restocking.
- Assist in managing and minimizing waste.
Quality Control:
- Ensure food and drinks meet presentation and quality standards.
- Monitor adherence to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine checks to maintain cleanliness and ambiance.
Cash and POS Handling:
- Supervise billing, payments, and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure accuracy in the use of POS systems and customer transactions.
Team Coordination and Reporting:
- Communicate shift details, policies, and updates to team members.
- Prepare shift reports and communicate with management on staff or customer issues.
- Support in planning promotions or special events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management is a plus).
- Proven experience in a restaurant/lounge supervisory or team lead role.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
