Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Head of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives, drive partnerships, and scale our market presence. This is a leadership role responsible for revenue growth, market penetration, and strategic alliances in the fintech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a robust go-to-market strategy aligned with company goals across B2B, B2C, and/or B2B2C segments.
- Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships with banks, NBFCs, digital platforms, enterprise clients, and ecosystem enablers.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing business development team.
- Sales Execution: Own the sales funnel, drive lead generation, manage key accounts, and achieve aggressive growth targets.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, legal, compliance, and tech teams to ensure smooth onboarding and partner success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report performance metrics, revenue forecasts, and strategic updates to the leadership team and board.
Required Qualifications
- 10–14 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships in fintech, financial services, or financial ecosystems.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals and scaling business lines or products.
- Strong understanding of fintech trends, digital lending, payments, embedded finance, or banking.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution.
- MBA or equivalent degree from a reputed institution
