- We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer with a strong background in manufacturing and union relations to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on HR experience within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating expertise in employee relations, compliance, and union handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes for manufacturing staff.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety standards, and industrial regulations.
- Act as a liaison between management and union representatives, maintaining positive and productive relationships.
- Participate in union negotiations and grievances, ensuring adherence to agreements.
- Conduct training sessions on company policies, safety, and employee rights.
- Maintain accurate HR records and report on key HR metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Proven experience working with unionized workforces.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and union protocols.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality and professionalism.
- HR certification (such as SHR, PHR, or equivalent) preferred.
