The Spare Part Store Officer is responsible for overseeing and supervising the inventory of spare parts by ensuring availability and ensuring machinery efficiency, minimising downtime, and controlling maintenance costs.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control spare parts inventory levels to prevent overstocking or shortages
Conduct regular stock verification and ensure accurate updates in the ERP system
Implement FIFO, proper storage conditions, and maintain the quality of stock
Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers for timely and quality delivery
Analyse consumption data, forecast requirements, and prepare regular inventory and cost reports
Drive continuous improvement by ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
Coordinate with internal teams and maintain accurate documentation.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree qualification
1 - 3 years of core hands-on experience manufacturing industry.
