Job Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Shift Incharge to oversee day-to-day operations within our warehouse facility.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, preferably in the building materials or ceramics industry, and a solid understanding of operational processes, ERP systems, and inventory controls.
Key Responsibilities
Must-Have:
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed consistently.
- Establish and implement efficient processes for operational governance.
- Supervise all warehouse inwards and outwards, ensuring timely and controlled movement.
- Ensure trucks are loaded as per sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain strict compliance with ERP processes and data entry.
- Supervise warehouse staff, including drivers and loaders.
- Minimize stock breakages and maintain clean, organized inventory storage.
Preferred:
- Conduct periodic physical stock verifications and audits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records.
- Ensure all transactions are recorded promptly in ERP systems.
- Exposure to barcoding, stretch hooding, and other warehouse automation practices is an added advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Minimum of a HND/Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional/Technical: Warehouse management expertise is essential.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant warehouse experience.
- Total work experience of 10 years in manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong preference for experience in the building materials or ceramics industry.
- System Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems (Orion preferred).
- Skills: Analytical mindset and ability to resolve operational bottlenecks effectively.
