We are looking for a talented Project Assistant - Level II – Sales to join our team specializing in Sales for our PowerGen Commercial Department in Lagos, Nigeria.



In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:




  • Enhancing Project Management: By applying process and project management skills, you'll help streamline project workflows and improve efficiency.

  • Supporting Project Execution: Your assistance in managing small portions of well-defined projects will ensure tasks are completed on time and within scope.

  • Providing Administrative and Logistics Support: Your organizational skills will keep the project team and manager well-supported, ensuring smooth operations.

  • Resolving Project Issues: By identifying, tracking, and collaborating with others to resolve issues, you'll help maintain project momentum and prevent delays.

  • Monitoring and Communicating Project Status: Your updates will keep the project team informed, facilitating better decision-making and coordination.

  • Assisting with Budget Planning and Tracking: Your support in budget management will help ensure financial resources are used effectively and efficiently.

  • Managing Project Risk: By using quality tools to identify areas of risk, you'll contribute to proactive risk management and mitigation strategies.

  • Documenting and Sharing Learnings: Your efforts in maintaining project notes and databases will help capture valuable insights and share them with other teams, fostering continuous improvement.



Responsibilities



To be successful in this role you will need the following:




  • Project Management Skills: Ability to balance scope, schedule, and resources effectively to ensure project goals are met.

  • Effective Issue and Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing issues and risks, and taking actions to minimize and control them.

  • Resource Management Expertise: Skills in developing and managing resource plans, including expenses and headcount, to ensure efficient use of resources.

  • Excellent Communication and Adaptability: Capability to explain complex topics to various audiences and integrate customer perspectives to enhance project outcomes.



Qualifications



Education/ Experience:




  • College or equivalent degree - A minimum of BSc / HND or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office.

  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
