Responsibilities




  • The GSA is the major image of the hotel.

  • Welcomes guests and visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone.

  • Answering or referring inquiries.

  • Acts as interface between the hotel and the guest/visitor.

  • Directs guests / visitors by maintaining departmental directories; giving instructions.

  • Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring log book, issuing visitor badges where necessary.

  • Registers checking in and checking out of guests.

  • The GSA is the chief custodian of hotel room keys/cards.

  • Takes reservation physically, by telephone and through online means.

  • The GSA prepares guest bills and dealings with payment.

  • Provides guests with necessary information.

  • Answers guest’s queries and deals with complaints.

  • Ensures proper room allocation.



Requirements




  • OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in any of the Social Sciences field

  • 3 years hands-on experience in a 3 Star hotel.

  • Gender: Male or female

  • Trustworthy

  • Honest

  • Hardworking

  • Smart

  • Neat (No body odour)

  • Obedient

  • Team player

  • Hospitality Ethics Compliant

  • Computer literacy a must.
