We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive in the payments or financial services industry (FSI)—including banks, fintechs, or payment processing. This hire will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and revenue growth as well as converting leads into paying customers, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals to meet and exceed revenue targets. This role is crucial to our growth, and we need a results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do




  • Independently develop selling strategies for assigned accounts and interface regularly with executive levels.

  • Identify and engage potential customers, converting leads into sales.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain Straitpay’s value proposition.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic selling and negotiation.

  • Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead generation efforts.

  • Track and report on sales performance, providing insights for improvement.

  • Build internal and external industry networks to remain current on Fintech industry trends and competitor offerings.



What You’ll Need




  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum of 6 years of sales experience, preferably in the fintech, banking, or financial services sector.

  • A proven track record in B2B sales within the financial services or fintech sector; with verifiable proof and credible references from past employers or clients within the industry. 

  • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

  • Solid understanding of the payments ecosystem and financial services market.

  • Familiarity with sales strategies in the Fintech Sector.

  • A results-oriented mindset with a drive to hit and exceed sales targets.

  • Ability to independently manage sales planning and execution including the full sales cycle - from prospecting to closing deals.

  • Experience in using CRM tools to track activities, optimize efforts and forecast performance.
