What The Role Is



We’re looking for a bold, strategic, and people-savvy Ecosystem Partnerships Executive to join our team and lead the charge in identifying, onboarding, and managing key players in the pet space; from vet clinics and pet stores to grooming services, boarding providers, pet content creators, pet communities, lifestyle brands, and everything in between.



This isn’t a desk job. It’s a relationship-building role for someone who understands what it means to create value for partners, spot opportunities, and champion a brand that’s breaking new ground.



You’ll lead outreach, pitch our model, manage relationships, and make sure every partner feels seen, heard, and valued. This role sits at the intersection of growth, operations, and relationship-building, and it requires someone with strong communication skills, excellent organisation, a bias for action, and a high level of emotional intelligence.



You should ideally be someone that has experience doing at least one or more of these: B2B outreach, business development, B2B sales, community engagement and partnerships.



You’ll play a critical part in expanding Skeepy’s footprint by ensuring these stakeholders understand the value of joining and collaborating with Nigeria’s first Pet HMO.



What You'll Be Doing




  • Identify and reach out to vet clinics, pet stores, grooming centers, pet boarding providers, pet pharmacies, and other relevant service providers across Nigeria.

  • Pitch and onboard clinics and service providers onto the Skeepy Pet HMO Provider network.

  • Negotiate partnership terms and build sustainable working relationships that are valuable for both Skeepy and the partners.

  • Build partnerships with non-service pet ecosystem players (e.g. brands, lifestyle companies, influencers, communities, and events).

  • Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to coordinate onboarding, set up dashboards, and track performance.

  • Manage relationships with existing ecosystem partners and act as the main point of contact for partner questions or escalations.

  • Collaborate with the rest of the Skeepy team to improve partner experience, satisfaction, and alignment with our value proposition.

  • Lead partnership meetings, onboarding sessions, and occasional check-ins, virtually and in person.

  • Work closely with the marketing and operations team to coordinate partner campaigns and activation efforts.

  • Collaborate with content and communication team to spotlight partners and amplify success stories.

  • Monitor partner performance and satisfaction, solving issues where needed and ensuring long-term alignment.

  • Represent Skeepy at key industry events, webinars, and ecosystem touchpoints.



What You Should Have




  • 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or account management.

  • Excellent communication skills; confident speaking in meetings, on calls, or in person. You should be persuasive and able to adapt your pitch depending on the audience.

  • Proven track record of closing deals or onboarding partners.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability; you're managing multiple conversations and partner statuses at the same time.

  • Comfortable using CRM tools and communication platforms like Notion, Google Workspace, and Zoom.

  • Relationship-driven with a strong instinct for what makes partnerships succeed long-term.

  • Takes ownership, proactive, resourceful, and doesn’t wait to be told what to do.
