About the job




  • We are looking for a smart, proactive, and detail-oriented Facility Management Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our facility. This role is ideal for NYSC members seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) or graduates who have just completed NYSC and are eager to gain hands-on experience in facility management.



Responsibilities:




  • Assist in the daily operations and upkeep of the facility.

  • Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests and repairs.

  • Monitor the condition of office equipments and infrastructure.

  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, and technicians as needed.

  • Maintain records of maintenance schedules, reports, and inventory.

  • Ensure that safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are upheld.

  • Support logistics for internal meetings, workspace setups, and office supplies.

  • Report any facility issues promptly to the Facility Manager or Admin Lead.

  • Assist with general administrative duties and support the operations team.



Requirements




  • Current NYSC corps member seeking PPA, or recently completed NYSC.

  • Smart, proactive, and willing to learn.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Previous experience in facility management, real estate, or customer success is a plus.

  • Comfortable using basic computer tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel).
