Job Overview:




  • The Head of Finance will work in collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee all financial functions of the company. This includes cost and management accounting, financial forecasting, budgeting, investment risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership to optimize profitability and drive long-term financial growth.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

  • Manage working capital with a focus on inventory, receivables, and cash flow optimization.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

  • Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and other regulatory standards.

  • Oversee risk management and tax planning functions.

  • Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business goals.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to the finance team.

  • Continuously analyze performance metrics and recommend improvements.



Qualifications & Experience:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • MBA is required.

  • ICAN or ACCA certification is mandatory.

  • Minimum of 10 years in senior financial management roles, preferably in Retail, Banking, Manufacturing, or FMCG sectors.

  • Expertise in financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, and IFRS.

  • Strong knowledge of tax, regulatory, and risk management frameworks.

  • Proven experience in leading large multicultural teams.
