We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and grow our sales operations across the South South and South East regions of Nigeria.
The ideal candidate must have a strong track record in FMCG sales within the region, with a solid network and experience in HORECA, Modern Trade, and Open Market Wholesale channels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth across assigned territories (Abia, Calabar, Enugu, Onitsha, Owerri).
Manage, mentor, and lead a team of field sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships in HORECA, modern trade, and wholesale markets.
Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and prepare reports for senior management.
Build strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and other channel partners.
Ensure timely market intelligence, competitor analysis, and feedback to inform strategic decisions.
Support trade marketing activities, promotions, and in-market execution of brand initiatives.
Ensure optimal stock availability, visibility, and merchandising across all touchpoints.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (an MBA is an added advantage).
Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in the FMCG sector, with proven success in the designated region.
In-depth knowledge and strong network within HORECA, modern trade, and wholesale channels.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be willing to travel frequently within the region.
