An experienced Coating Advisor is needed to supervise the proper application of Protective and Marine Coatings at project sites.
This role involves providing technical support, ensuring compliance with coating specifications and safety standards, conducting inspections, and supporting training and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and advise contractors on surface preparation, paint mixing, application, and curing.
Ensure adherence to technical specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Conduct pre-application meetings to align stakeholders on requirements and procedures.
Perform site inspections, including surface profile checks, climatic monitoring, and DFT measurements.
Prepare accurate daily site reports on progress, issues, and corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical challenges.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, sales, R&D) for feedback and improvements.
Provide training on coating application best practices.
Stay current with industry standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, etc.).
Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
Requirements
B.Sc./B.Tech in Chemistry, Paint Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in site management or technical service in the protective/marine coatings sector.
