Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Store Manager to oversee the inventory and storage operations at the facility.
- This includes receiving raw materials, maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring timely issuance of materials to production, and managing finished goods inventory.
- The role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production and efficient supply chain flow within the snack manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials (raw materials, packaging, finished goods, etc.).
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid overstocking or stock-outs.
- Implement and manage FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices
- Ensure that materials are stored safely, organized, and labeled properly. - Conduct periodic cycle counts and monthly/annual physical inventory checks.
- Liaise with production, quality control, and procurement teams for material planning and demand forecasting.
- Ensure the timely delivery of raw materials to production lines.
- Lead and supervise storekeepers and warehouse staff.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Generate regular reports on stock levels, wastage, and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP).
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven years of experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in a food manufacturing setup.
- Proficiency in inventory software (e.g. Odoo).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of food safety and material handling standards.
