Job Summary
- The Production Officer is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production lines.
- This role ensures high-quality output, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and efficient resource utilization.
- The Production Officer plays a key role in achieving production targets, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Rresponsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities across assigned shifts or production lines.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and output targets.
- Monitor and control processing parameters to maintain product quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000).
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance team to address non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, proper equipment functioning, and staff compliance.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of production operators andfactoryworkers.
- Maintain production records and generate daily reports on output, downtime, and labor utilization.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize waste.
- Enforce company health and safety policies.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in snacks or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
- Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and quality systems.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
- Shift work may be required, including nights or weekend.
