Job Overview:
The Fashion QC/QA Personnel is responsible for inspecting finished clothing products after sewing, ensuring they meet quality standards, ironing, and packaging. This role also involves delivering garments to clients and following up on deliveries to guarantee client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control and Inspection:
- Inspect finished garments to ensure they are sewn according to design specifications and quality standards.
- Identify defects such as loose threads, uneven stitching, and incorrect sizing.
- Ensure proper finishing, such as neat hems, clean seams, and correct labeling.
Ironing and Packaging:
- Iron garments to ensure they are well-presented and wrinkle-free.
- Fold and package items neatly in branded or appropriate packaging.
- Attach necessary tags, labels, and instructions as required.
Delivery and Client Engagement:
- Deliver garments to clients at scheduled times.
- Ensure proper handling and presentation during delivery.
- Collect feedback from clients regarding product satisfaction.
Follow-up and Record Keeping:
- Follow up with clients post-delivery to confirm satisfaction and handle any concerns.
- Maintain records of deliveries, quality checks, and client feedback.
- Report any consistent issues to management for improvement.
Maintenance and Organization:
- Keep the workspace organized and clean, ensuring equipment is in good condition.
- Ensure proper storage of finished products to prevent damage.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in fashion quality control or similar roles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good ironing and garment handling skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Reliable with good time-management skills.
- Physical ability to lift and handle clothing packages.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of garment construction and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with different fabrics and their care requirements.
- Customer service experience.
