We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Store Officer to manage and oversee our inventory, storage, and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient handling of stock, maintain accurate records, and support the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
Organize and store items in designated areas, ensuring proper stock rotation (e.g., FIFO method).
Coordinate the dispatch of goods to various departments or outlets as required.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering to prevent shortages.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards within the storage areas.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs.
Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status and store activities.
Qualifications
HND / Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-7 years experience in store keeping or inventory management, preferably in the food manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
