As the management accountant, you play a key role in providing financial insights and performance analysis to support decision-making across the QSR chain.
This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on store-level profitability, food and labor cost analysis, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Provide detailed variance analysis between actual results and budgets/forecasts, highlighting key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with operations and executive teams.
Track performance against budgets and provide insights into financial trends and potential risks.
Monitor and analyze key cost areas, including food cost, labor cost, overheads, and delivery expenses.
Evaluate profitability at the store, product, and region level to support operational improvements.
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to monitor KPIs and cost-saving opportunities.
Support pricing decisions and promotional impact analysis.
Assist with menu engineering and scenario modeling for new product introductions.
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support external audits and tax filings as needed
Help implement and maintain accounting systems and reporting tools.
Recommend and support improvements in financial processes and data accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is preferred or in progress.
3–5 years of experience in management accounting, ideally in QSR, retail, hospitality, or FMCG industries
