 This candidate should have vast experience for acquiring materials, equipment, and services needed to complete projects within budget, on time, and in compliance with industry standards. This candidate should be adept in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost efficiency, coupled with mitigating supply chain risks.



Job Description: 




  • Develop and Implement sourcing strategies for cost-effective and timely procurement. 

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers based on performance, quality, and cost criteria. 

  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring long term partnerships and optimal contract terms. 

  • Conduct suppler performance reviews and ensure compliance with company standards, HSE policies, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of contracts to ensure favorable agreements for the company. 

  • Manage contract lifecycles, inclusive of tendering, bid evaluations, award recommendations, and contract execution. 

  • Prepare procurement cost reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs), and update stakeholders on budgetary performance. 

  • Mitigate risks related to cost overruns, delivery delays, and price fluctuations. 

  • Coordinate and ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. 

  • Ensure materials and equipment meet quality specifications and industry standards. 

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules. 

  • Manage procurement databases, vendor lists, and historical data for future reference. Qualifications & 



Requirements: 




  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business 

  • 5+ years of procurement experience in the oil & gas EPC sector, or related industries 

  • Experience with procurement software (E.g., SAP, Oracle) and project management tools 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment ad manage multiple priorities. 

  • Familiarity with international sourcing and logistics including import/ export regulations. 

  • Attention to detail. 

  • Strategic thinking 

  • Team collaboration
