- We are seeking a disciplined and highly capable Security Supervisor with a military background to lead and oversee a team of security personnel.
- The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, tactical awareness, and operational discipline to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel.
- This role requires proactive risk management, strategic oversight of security operations, and a high level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of the security team, ensuring adherence to procedures and performance standards.
- Leverage military training and experience to develop and enforce effective security strategies and emergency response protocols.
- Conduct threat assessments, perimeter checks, and surveillance to maintain a secure environment.
- Train and mentor security personnel using military-based discipline, protocols, and leadership techniques.
- Coordinate incident response, emergency drills, and critical event management.
- Maintain accurate reports and documentation of incidents, patrols, and shift activity.
- Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, or workplace incidents, ensuring detailed reporting and corrective action.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and internal departments as needed.
- Oversee scheduling, deployment, and performance evaluation of security officers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational safety standards, and legal regulations.
Requirements
- Honorable discharge or completion of active-duty military service, preferably in a security, operations, or leadership role.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in private/corporate security, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Valid security license or certification (as required by jurisdiction).
- Strong understanding of security operations, access control, perimeter defense, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and strategic in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
- Physically fit and capable of performing foot patrols and handling emergency scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Combat experience, military police, or experience in high-risk environments.
- Experience in executive protection or asset protection.
- CPR/First Aid, firearms permit (where applicable), or other specialized security certifications.
