Job Summary




  • The accounting clerk will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal controls across our restaurant locations.



Key Responsibilities




  • Record and process daily sales reports from multiple restaurant locations.

  • Reconcile cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions against bank deposits and point-of-sale (POS) system records.

  • Manage and maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers, including data entry and invoice processing.

  • Assist with payroll-related data entry and reconciliation (e.g., timesheet accuracy and deductions).

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records for audits and internal reviews.

  • Assist with inventory reconciliation and cost analysis from restaurant supply purchases.

  • Communicate with store managers to resolve transactional discrepancies.

  • Support the accounting team with other administrative and financial tasks as needed.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the food service or retail sector.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.

  • Strong communication skills for interaction with store and finance personnel.
