Job Summary:




  • The Material Management Planner & Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of materials within the Dangote Sugar Refinery.

  • This role involves working closely with production, engineering, and other relevant teams to address material-related issues and ensure seamless operations.

  • The analyst will track key performance indicators related to materials management and material flow, utilizing ERP systems to manage inventory, track material movements, and generate comprehensive reports.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other teams to resolve material-related issues and ensure smooth operations.

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to materials management and material flow.

  • Generate daily, monthly, and yearly reports to identify areas for improvement.

  • Utilize and maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to manage inventory and track material movements.

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize material usage and reduce waste.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits of inventory and material management processes.

  • Provide training and support to team members on materials management best practices.



Requirements



Qualifications & Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree in Purchasing & Supply Management or Social Sciences.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills to support operations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other presentation tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

  • Membership in the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Nigeria or London is an added advantage.
