Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced construction equipment engineer to oversee the management, maintenance, and revenue generation of our construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of construction plant and equipment.


• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize performance.


• Manage a team of technicians and operators to ensure proper handling and upkeep of all machinery.


• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, servicing, and repairs.


• Identify and implement cost-effective strategies for equipment procurement, utilization, and disposal.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.


• Develop and execute a revenue-generation strategy by leasing equipment to third-party clients.


• Establish and maintain relationships with potential lessees and partners in the construction industry.


• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for optimizing asset utilization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or HND in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field.


• 10 - 15 years of experience in plant management within the construction industry.


• Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.


• Proven experience in asset management, leasing, or business development in the equipment rental sector is a plus.


• Certification in equipment handling, safety, and management is required.


• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


• Strong negotiation and business development skills to drive leasing revenue.
