The Engineering Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing engineering spare parts, tools, and consumables required for maintenance and production operations.
The role ensures that the engineering store is organized, well-stocked, and compliant with safety and inventory control standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables using manual logs or inventory software.
Receiving & Issuing Materials: Receive incoming goods, check for quality/quantity, and issue items as per maintenance or production requirements.
Store Organization: Ensure materials are stored properly with correct labeling and easy access to avoid damage or mix-ups.
Documentation & Records: Maintain proper records of stock movements, purchase orders, and issue slips as per company procedures.
Coordination & Compliance: Coordinate with maintenance and procurement teams, and follow safety and housekeeping standards within the store.
