Job Overview
- Our client is currently looking for a Social Media Manager who will play a key role in shaping the brand's online presence across all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
- The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with the brand's voice and aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Develop, design, and edit high-quality and engaging visual content, including images, videos, and graphics, for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), etc.).
- Assist in creating content for the company’s website, blog, and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute new content ideas that align with current trends and brand strategy.
- Ensure all content reflects a consistent brand voice and aesthetics
Social Media Management:
- Develop, manage, and maintain a structured social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting.
- Schedule and publish posts strategically across all platforms.
- Monitor and engage actively with the online community by responding to comments, DMs, and inquiries.
- Analyse social media performance using analytics tools to track KPIs and recommend improvements.
Brand Collaboration:
- Assist in coordinating with influencers, partners, and brand ambassadors for collaborations and co-created content.
- Participate in and support photoshoots and video shoots, contributing to styling, location scouting, and capturing behind-the-scenes content.
Market Research:
- Conduct regular research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to shape content strategy.
- Stay current on the latest trends in fashion, social media, and digital marketing.
Campaign Management:
- Support the planning and execution of social media campaigns tied to product launches, seasonal promotions, or company events.
- Help brainstorm and develop campaign themes, content deliverables, and promotion strategies.
Audience Engagement:
- Create interactive content such as polls, Q&As, contests, and challenges to boost audience participation and brand loyalty.
- Adapt strategies based on engagement metrics and feedback.
Performance Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance, campaign results, and audience insights.
- Use performance data to optimize content strategy and recommend actionable improvements.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and organise a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed. Support internal administrative tasks, including scheduling, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with vendors or creatives.
Requirements or Qualifications
- Proven experience as a social media manager, digital content creator, or similar role (no years of experience needed).
- Strong portfolio of visual content, including photography, videography, and graphic design.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, InShot, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective best practices.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, social media algorithms, and engagement metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling ability.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Must reside in or have easy access to Abule Egba or its environs.
