Job Responsibilities




  • As a Logistics Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties



Logistics Management




  • Coordinate and optimize logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.

  • Liaise with third-party logistics partners to maintain efficient delivery networks.

  • Monitor delivery performance, address challenges, and implement improvements.



Rider Recruitment




  • Develop and execute strategies for recruiting delivery riders to meet operational demands.

  • Collaborate with HR to conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate the onboarding process.

  • Maintain a pool of qualified riders and ensure an adequate supply to meet business needs.



Training and Development




  • Design and conduct training programs for new and existing riders to enhance their skills and efficiency.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to riders to ensure a high level of service quality.



Performance Monitoring




  • Implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of logistics operations.

  • Conduct regular assessments of rider performance and address any issues promptly.



Documentation and Reporting




  • Maintain accurate records of rider information, including contact details and performance data.

  • Generate reports on logistics and rider recruitment activities for management review.



Job Requirements




  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in an Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain related role.

  • You must have completed studies at a University, Polytechnic or similar institution

  • You should be familiar with CRM, and comfortably use spreadsheets to collect, analyze & interpret data.

  • Effectively manage projects using project management techniques and tools

  • Be conversant with Logistics operations in such industries as Food and Beverage, FMCG, e-Commerce, Transportation, and others

  • Communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders, and able to negotiate, too

  • Demonstrate results in improving business performance through leadership

  • Have a highly developed sense of urgency.
