Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct field surveys to assess LPG demand across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
- Analyze competitor pricing, product offerings, and promotional strategies.
- Monitor market trends, seasonal fluctuations, and emerging customer preferences.
Data Collection & Reporting:
- Gather data on LPG consumption patterns, customer satisfaction, and brand perception.
- Compile and present findings in structured reports for management review.
- Use tools like questionnaires, interviews, and digital platforms to collect data.
Pricing & Competitor Intelligence:
- Track retail and wholesale LPG prices across different regions.
- Identify pricing gaps and recommend adjustments to remain competitive.
- Evaluate competitor distribution networks and customer engagement tactics.
Regulatory & Compliance Monitoring:
- Stay updated on government policies, safety regulations, and licensing requirements affecting LPG sales.
- Report any changes that could impact operations or pricing.
Customer & Distributor Engagement:
- Interact with retailers, distributors, and end-users to understand challenges and expectations.
- Provide feedback to sales and marketing teams to improve service delivery.
Strategic Recommendations:
- Suggest new market entry points or underserved areas for expansion.
- Recommend promotional campaigns based on consumer insights.
- Support product development by identifying gaps in current offerings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the LPG industry and its supply chain.
- Proficiency in data collection tools and basic statistical analysis.
- Ability to travel and conduct fieldwork independently.
