- We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Wellbeing Coach within a fast-growing tech organization.
- This role focuses on supporting employee mental health, resilience, and overall wellbeing in a dynamic workplace environment.
- The Wellbeing Coach will provide confidential one-on-one support sessions, facilitate group wellbeing programs, and contribute to mental health awareness initiatives within the company.
- The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive mental health, coaching, and workplace wellbeing, and enjoys working with professionals in a fast-paced corporate setting.
Responsibilities
Employee Psychological Support:
- Conduct confidential one-on-one and group wellbeing coaching sessions with employees.
- Support employees in managing issues such as stress, burnout, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, and work-life balance.
- Help employees develop practical coping strategies, resilience skills, and emotional regulation techniques.
- Identify cases requiring clinical intervention and provide appropriate referrals when necessary.
Wellbeing Programs & Initiatives:
- Design and facilitate wellbeing workshops, group sessions, and webinars for employees.
- Deliver sessions on topics such as stress management, emotional intelligence, resilience, productivity, and healthy workplace habits.
- Contribute to the development of mental health awareness campaigns and wellbeing initiatives across the organization.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Promote a workplace culture where mental wellbeing is normalized and supported.
- Participate in employee onboarding programs to introduce available wellbeing resources.
- Collaborate with HR, People Operations, and leadership teams to identify emerging wellbeing needs.
Crisis Support & Risk Management:
- Provide initial psychological support to employees experiencing distress.
- Conduct basic risk assessments where necessary and escalate high-risk cases appropriately.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethical standards in all employee interactions.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions in line with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
- Track engagement metrics and wellbeing trends to inform program improvements.
- Provide periodic reports and insights to support organizational wellbeing strategy.
Qualification & Experience
- Master’s degree (M.Sc. or M.Phil.) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP) or a relevant professional regulatory body.
- Membership with the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA) will be an added advantage.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 – 5 years professional experience in clinical psychology, counselling, or mental health practice.
- Experience conducting individual psychological support sessions or therapy.
- Previous experience in corporate wellbeing, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), or workplace mental health initiatives will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- Training in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Coaching Psychology
- Experience working with young professionals in high-performance environments
- Experience facilitating corporate training or group wellbeing sessions
- Familiarity with digital wellbeing platforms and virtual coaching tools
