Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
- The ideal candidate must be IT savvy, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks with professionalism. Prior experience working in a law firm will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and secretarial support to management and staff.
- Manage correspondence, including drafting, typing, receiving, and responding to emails and letters.
- Maintain accurate filing systems (both electronic and physical) and ensure proper document management.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars.
- Prepare reports, memos, presentations, and other office documents.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Coordinate office supplies and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and official information at all times.
- Assist with record keeping, data entry, and basic bookkeeping where required.
- Support legal and administrative teams with documentation and office logistics, where applicable.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of a diploma or degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary.
- Must be IT savvy with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office productivity tools.
- Good typing speed and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience working in a law firm not required but would be an advantage
