Job Summary




  • The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial management, reporting, and control functions across the Group and its subsidiaries. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and supports strategic decision-making at the Group level.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee preparation of consolidated financial statements across all subsidiaries.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

  • Develop and maintain robust internal control systems and financial governance frameworks.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across business units.

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance of all subsidiaries.

  • Provide financial insights and reports to senior management to support strategic decisions.

  • Coordinate audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.

  • Standardize financial reporting templates and processes across the Group.

  • Supervise and mentor finance teams across subsidiaries.

  • Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives across operations.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is mandatory.

  • 7–10 years’ experience, preferably within FMCG, and Microfinance Bank.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and regulatory compliance.

  • Experience managing multi-entity financial operations.
