The role is responsible for managing an efficient and safe site that produces finished products meeting customer requirements at the lowest cost while maximizing financial benefits.

Responsibilities - Production Unit

• Define and agree job responsibilities with subordinates set targets and monitor performance formally and informally


• Maintain the welfare and morale of staff


• Enforce discipline and carry out dismissals as required within company procedures and employment laws


• Select and appoint new staff


• Ensure all areas operate efficiently within approved budgets and drive continual improvement


• Control stock levels of raw materials and finished products through supervisors to meet product specifications and volume needs


• Monitor production output yield and extraction capacity and respond to variances


• Ensure efficient maintenance of plant and buildings using preventive maintenance programs to reduce breakdowns

General Responsibilities

• Manage external contractors for cleaning waste disposal gardening and other services in a cost effective manner and ensure quality service


• Ensure perimeter and yard areas are well maintained


• Through managers maintain and administer personnel records and systems excluding sickness absenteeism and holiday records


• Ensure safe keeping of company agreements and financial instruments through respective managers


• Encourage strong communication across the plant through team briefings and discussions


• Identify training needs through managers and promote staff development within budget


• Demonstrate flexibility in performing management tasks required for business growth

Requirements

• BTech or BE from a reputed institute


• 5+ years of relevant experience in handling milling lines.
