Job Summary  

BTech Construction Limited, the construction arm of the Multixept Group, is seeking an experienced Building Engineer to support active construction projects across multiple locations in Nigeria. This is a site-driven role that requires mobility, technical confidence, and accountability. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel as projects demand.  

Job Objective  

• Construction and Project Execution: Ensure that all building projects, renovations, or construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and regulations.  


• Building Systems and Maintenance Management: Monitor, maintain, and optimize the operational systems of the building.  


• Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all building operations and construction activities.  


• The work demands unrivaled flair for attention to details and a proactive mind. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on site. 


• Ensure works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and standards. 


• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and artisans on site. 


• Monitor workmanship quality, materials, and construction sequences. 


• Identify and resolve technical and construction issues promptly. 


• Enforce health and safety compliance across all sites. 


• Prepare site reports, progress updates, and handover documentation. 


• Support inspections, snagging, and project completion processes. 


• Ready to develop self and team to achieve organization’s goal. 


• Ensure deadlines are met. 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Experience working on pile, pad and raft foundations. 


• 4 - 7 years of progressive experience in the field of construction. 


• B.Sc or MSc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field. 


• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site coordination. 


• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. 


• Willingness to travel across different states for projects (important). 


• Experience working on medium to large scale building projects. 


• Able to work smartly and adapt to different site environments. 


• A self-starter that requires minimal supervision.
