Job Summary




  • We are looking for an experienced and skilled Surveyor to join our dynamic team.

  • The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting land, mining, and construction surveys, managing projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience who is ready to take on more responsibility and grow within the company.



Key Responsibilities




  • Conduct accurate volumetric surveys of stockpiles, pits, waste dumps, and ore bodies.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly volumetric reports for production and planning departments.

  • Execute daily, weekly, and monthly mine surveys to support blasting, drilling, and production activities.

  • Carry out UAV (drone) flights and process data for generating 3D models and volumetric outputs (if applicable).

  • Maintain and calibrate survey instruments and ensure accuracy of equipment.

  • Update survey databases, digital terrain models (DTMs), and mine plans.

  • Provide survey support for mine expansion, engineering projects, and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.

  • Collaborate closely with geologists, mining engineers, and production teams.

  • Archive survey records and ensure data integrity and storage.



Qualifications and Skills




  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in land surveying, construction surveying, or a related field.

  • Competency in working with surveying instruments such as total stations, Global Positioning Systems, and laser scanners.

  • In-depth Knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and equipment.

  • Proficiency in the use of mapping software such as AutoCAD, GIS, Surfer, Excel, Matlab, and other relevant software in making and analyzing mine plans and maps is preferred

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in work.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
