Main Function
- The Sales Marketeris responsible for driving revenue growth by actively identifying new sales opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, expanding the customer base, and increasing daily sales across all channels.
- The role requires consistent field marketing, client engagement, promotional activities, and proactive efforts to ensure the outlet meets and exceeds its sales targets.
Role Responsibilities
Sales Generation & Market Expansion:
- Actively seek new customers through field visits, direct marketing, and referrals.
- Identify and develop new sales channels including corporate clients, offices, schools, events, and bulk buyers.
- Promote the company’s food products to individuals, groups, and organizations.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into regular customers.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets are achieved.
Outdoor Marketing & Client Engagement:
- Conduct regular outdoor marketing within assigned areas.
- Visit offices, shops, schools, and event centers to promote products.
- Distribute flyers, menus, and promotional materials.
- Introduce the brand to potential customers and create awareness.
- Build strong relationships that lead to repeat orders.
Corporate & Bulk Sales Development:
- Source and secure bulk orders for events, meetings, parties, and corporate functions.
- Maintain relationships with existing corporate clients.
- Negotiate orders and ensure timely delivery coordination.
- Follow up after each order to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for long-term supply agreements.
Promotions & Sales Campaigns:
- Support the planning and execution of sales promotions.
- Suggest ideas to increase customer traffic and revenue.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and outreach programs.
- Promote special offers, combos, and new products.
- Monitor customer response to promotions.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain regular contact with customers.
- Encourage repeat business through good communication.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and quickly.
- Ensure customers receive excellent service at all times.
- Keep records of key customers and frequent buyers.
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Submit daily and weekly sales activity reports.
- Track number of visits, leads, and orders generated.
- Monitor progress against assigned targets.
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer preferences.
- Recommend strategies to improve sales performance.
Brand Representation:
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Maintain neat appearance during marketing activities.
- Ensure all communication reflects the brand positively.
- Promote the company with confidence and enthusiasm.
Coordination with Operations:
- Work closely with kitchen and outlet staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly.
- Confirm product availability before closing sales.
- Ensure customer orders are properly documented.
- Follow up to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or food business is an advantage.
- Experience in field marketing or outdoor sales is highly preferred.
- Ability to meet targets and work with minimal supervision.
