Install electrical systems for power and industrial projects, including substations, transmission and distribution networks, and industrial facilities.
Carry out installation of cables, transformers, switchgear, panels, meters, and control systems.
Perform cable routing, tray installation, glanding, termination, and panel wiring.
Support equipment installation, system integration, and overall project execution.
Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and functional checks.
Ensure all installations meet required technical and safety standards before energization.
Repair or replace faulty components such as breakers, relays, contactors, and wiring systems.
Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and incidents.
Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.
Inspect installations to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
Conduct routine checks to identify defects or potential risks.
Assist engineers and supervisors in executing project activities.
Requirements
OND / Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in industrial or power-related electrical work.
Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, installations, and power systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with electrical testing tools (multimeter, megger, etc.).
Relevant certifications or trade licenses are an added advantage.
