Van Sales Representative is responsible for driving product penetration, sales growth, and brand dominance in open markets.
The role involves prospecting new customers, taking orders, managing trade relationships, ensuring proper merchandising, and executing trade marketing activities across designated markets.
This position focuses on increasing product visibility, expanding market share, and ensuring consistent product availability in targeted open-market clusters.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Market Penetration
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Prospect, open, and register new outlets in assigned clusters (markets, kiosks, roadside stalls, mini-marts, etc.).
Actively sell products to wholesalers, retailers, market vendors, and sub-distributors. Route-to-Market & Territory Growth
Execute planned market route coverage and ensure daily presence in assigned territory.
Conduct market mapping and establish a strong customer database. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term trade relationships to increase loyalty and repeat purchases.
Educate customers on product benefits, promotions, pricing, and policies. Merchandising & Brand Visibility
Ensure proper product display, pricing, and stocking level in the open market. Reporting & Compliance
Submit accurate daily sales reports, order records, and customer account updates.
Ensure compliance with all company sales, cash handling, and operational procedures.
