Summary

• We are seeking to employ a qualified and passionate Yoruba teacher to join its academic team.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach Yoruba language across assigned classes in line with the approved curriculum.


• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.


• Promote reading, writing, and conversational proficiency in Yoruba.


• Organize cultural activities that enhance students’ appreciation of Yoruba heritage.


• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress.


• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.Ed/B.A.) in Yoruba, linguistics, or a related field.


• TRCN certification will be an added advantage.


• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (preferably in a structured school environment).


• Strong communication and classroom management skills.


• Passion for teaching and promoting indigenous language and culture.
