Job Description







  • This role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency, contract compliance, and overall financial success of our developments. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a proactive approach to risk and value management.



Key Responsibilities



Cost Management & Financial Control: 




  • Lead project cost planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting

  • Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets

  • Provide regular cost reports and advise management on financial performance



Contract & Commercial Management




  • Oversee preparation, review, and administration of contracts

  • Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution

  • Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations



⁠Procurement & Tendering




  • Supervise BOQ preparation and tender documentation

  • Lead contractor selection, bid evaluation, and negotiation processes

  • Ensure value for money across all procurements



Project Commercial Oversight




  • Certify valuations and approve payments to contractors

  • Monitor cash flow and profitability across projects

  • Identify and manage commercial risks



Leadership & Team Management




  • Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team

  • Review team deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality

  • Mentor and develop junior team members



Stakeholder Engagement




  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams

  • Provide strategic commercial advice to support decision-making

  • Represent the company in high-level negotiations



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field

  • ⁠Minimum of 8–12 years’ experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of cost control, contract administration, and procurement

  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction or real estate projects

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills

  • Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an added advantage
