Position Overview
- The Lead Generating Officer will be responsible for researching, identifying, and generating high-quality sales leads to support business growth.
- This role requires strong research skills, effective communication, and the ability to build an active pipeline of prospective clients for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients across target industries and market
- Generate and qualify leads in line with company-defined criteria
- Conduct initial outreach via phone calls, emails, and digital platforms
- Gather and maintain accurate prospect data in CRM systems
- Schedule appointments and handover qualified leads to the sales team
- Track and report lead generation activities and performance metrics
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements
- Continuously improve lead sourcing strategies and outreach techniques
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Certification: HubSpot Inbound Sales Certification will be an added advantage
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Technical Proficiency:Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Organizational Skills: Strong research, analytical, and data management skills
- Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and implement effective solutions.
