We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe workplace culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures across the organization.



Location: Ilaro, Ogun State.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.

  • Organize and deliver HSE training, awareness programs, and toolbox talks for employees.

  • Monitor waste management, environmental practices, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors when required.



Requirements:




  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an HSE role.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, reporting, and training delivery skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
